Howdy from Texas

I was looking on craigs list and saw a Hawk 250 for pretty cheap. Ended up trading a little .22 pistol and a couple hundred $ for it, (In Texas guns act as currency)

Anyway, I have a 95 ninja 250 and a 2013 FZ1. Never owned a dirt bike/dual sport.

Has 33 miles on the odometer and has not been run in a year. Changed the oil and put some fresh gas in it and it runs pretty good.

Anyway, Looks like I have some searching to do in the forums.

Welcome to here! I have been on this forum for about 10 years or so, and I believe the Hawk is the most discussed bike we have ever seen on Chinariders. Not to mention, 'Motocheez' videos on youtube.

The Hawk, by far, has the most posts and discussions on here. That is what makes owning one kind of nice. There may not be any real dealer or factory support, but owner support is off the charts.

Guns and ammo are currency with me too. Despite being in enemy territory there are a bunch of gun guys here in CT. We used to be where the best guns were made, now we only make terrible gun laws.

Owner support is amazing here. There is so much knowledge. Don't be afraid to ask questions we don't mind answering questions we've answered before.

We do like picture,lotsa pictures.

thanks for the welcome fellas. Got insurance today, a whopping $4 a month, will go try to register on Friday. Fingers crossed.

I know of a few Hawks registered in Texas, so you should be fine.
