Kandi 110cc go kart oil change recommendations

OK I know asking for oil help is kinda like kicking a bees nest but here goes:

I want to change the oil in a Kandi 110cc (GY6) KD49-FM5e go kart. It has a 3 speed transmission (plus reverse) with no clutch. What oil should I use? Does it need to be wet clutch oil like my hawk. I'm very unfamiliar with the GY6. I flog this thing something rotten keeping up with my 5 year old son on his monster moto go kart. I used Valvoline 10-40 4 stroke oil in the past in it but now that I have a few hours on it I want to switch to a synthetic.
