hawk fuel cap trick?

Is there some kind of special trick to get into the fuel cap lock on the HAWK?putting the ignition key in but doesn't seem to want to go in all the way or turn . don't want to put too much finesse on it.

That's common. I have to put a little WD40 in my X-Moto about twice a year. I think that condensation collects or something. Maybe just the gas vapr is corrosive. Not sure.

took mine apart due to strong gas odor (cursed with sensitive sniffer). stretched those springs to exert more downforce on the gasket. i think it helped. just press down then turn key to right and lift. this could be easy to destroy i think. i know , it has to breath, cant have vapor lock.
