tire size

I've been looking online for street tires and am having a hard time. I won't be riding off road and would like to find a suitable street tire to replace the ds tire with. Is there a way to convert the 2.75 x 21, and 4.10 x 18 into a metric size tire? Surely there has to be 21 and 18 inch street tires out there somewhere. What street tires fit these bikes?

I went to the bike shop with a copy of your tires printed out and asked them to order your tires for me. They said they don't use that supplier. I'm stuck again with not being able to use visa #'s over the net. They can order chen shin's(sp) but not those tires. The only street tire I can get from them are much more expensive and look like they are from a 70's asian street bike.

So how does your bike handle now? I'm thinking about going with a set of grippy street tires and lowering the triple clamps just a bit. I'd really like to ditch the 21" hoop up front and go with a smaller, wider rim.

It handled fine with the knobby tires, but it's definitely more sure-footed with the street tires.

I think the handling is fine with my knobbies, but I am sure it would be even better with street tires.

I would really like to have two sets of wheels so that I could have pure street and a set of off-road tires.
