Big Sky Country. Washington style :-)

Montana does not have a monopoly on Big Sky. I took the YZF on a ride around the local desert yesterday. Such a huge difference from the heavily forested areas of BC and Alberta I was in last week.

The only shade I could find was this delapidated radio shack. Check for rattlesnakes before sitting down!

Had to replace an O-ring in my petcock this weekend. Alcohol in the gas degraded it and made it leak. 40 cents at the hardware store and good to go :-)

I spotted this clapped out 1976 CB200 in the motorcycle section at church on Sunday. Chatted with the owner :-) I rode Little Sweetie that day so it was great to see the bikes together.

I took Linda for a ride on Little Sweetie to the Columbia Riverfront for a walk and a drink. Parked next to some Hogs.

Great photo's. Older Honda's like these and classic Italian bikes are the new thing to have in Ireland. I was at a vintage bike rally here in May and it was nearly all Jap and Italian bikes. Before this it was all British bikes that were highly collectable. Most of the older Honda's here suffered with rust due to wet weather conditions and being left outside in these conditions for long periods of time.

My buddy Andy has a 1969 Moto Guzzi. I love those bikes.

After owning and riding classics/antiques from England, Japan, and Italy, I think I'll stick with the latter two countries of origin.

The BSA I had, as cool as it was, was poorly engineered and manufactured, and was never intended to be ridden in its old age.

Andy's Guzzi, could cross the continent at will even today, and the Hondas can do the same.
