That looks like a great idea. You wouldn't even a donar bike. Engines, seats and tanks are easily found on ebay.

I've seen those before, and I think they're a neat idea. The frame isn't as custom as the article implies; it's merely a CRF50 (or clone) frame with a MTB stem welded on. The only trick would be setting up a jig so you can weld it nice and straight.
