Way cool ride report FMY, thanks for sharing... and great pics. How long is that trail? You had to carry a spare gas tank? I take it there are not many gas stations?

Looks like the birds like to use that Tamiami sign for target practice lol..

Also awesome link to the story behind the pictures you took of the house on the way... Lucky seems like quite the character.

Thanks..... again..

p.s. how did the spare gas tank smashing go? lol

the trail is 26 miles long. there is one gas station at one end of it. we were supposed to go to another trail but the guys pretty much had all they could take. the other trail was at the opposite end of the gas station and was 20 miles in one direction and then you have to come back the same way. i would have definatly needed the gas if we went to that trail. that damn gas can fell off about 10 times though today  . yeah Lucky seems like a guy that i'd like to meet, too bad we didn't stop to meet him.

Great pictures. Looks like you had some fun with the big bikes. I am hoping to do some riding in the mountains this year since I finally have a bike that can be taken off-road. 600cc street bikes just don't trailride well.

I will have to remember the imodium.
