could have been WAYYYYY worse

left town at 9:30 am today heading east for Nicklemine for some riding.

little cloudy when we got there but sun was working it's way through.

parked in the lower parking lot and took the bypass around the gate and off we head on a mission to do the atv loop as best we can (no one has used it in a wile apparently)

rode up through the campsite ...lots up there camping old and young alike.

hung a right after the camping area and off we head to try and do this loop.

a bit of a challenging climb this one...lots of large rocks where the creek has slowly washed the small stuff away

but we do fine till we get to a slide area and we do not feel like man handling the atv's over it so we decide to turn around.

here is the creek that has made this awesome trail

here is where it all went bad

Kelly turns hers first and all of a sudden her left rear fender is almost touching the tire and her front right tire is in the air???? W.T.F.? :?

if you remember when her rear rack fell off and the conclusion as to why it broke were that where they had to attach the rear rack they flattened the tube steel in order to bolt it to the atv and that is the point where it had broke well...same goes for the swing arm.....made from tube steel and end of it flattened in order to weld on the mounting brackets for the axle and such.

tried to jerry rig it to get it down but this failed and boy am i glad i bring lots of tools with us and ratchet straps and bunji cords

i ended up disconnecting everything that was attached to the rear end and propped it up

got mine around her's and backed up to it.

figured out how to rig it to mine

ready to head back down and to the truck.... do I look impressed?

Kelly chose to walk behind this 6 wheeled monstrosity till we got to the campground and then rode on the front of hers the rest of the way to the truck.

W&G this video is for you

I think the worst part was the ride back through the camping area.....
