Grips and end caps

I am wanting to change my grips on my Hi-bird. Can anyone give me a good reccomendation. I also want end caps because all this humidity is making the bolt holes rust. Thanks for all the great tips I keep reading on here. Ive done alot to my bike.

Get some gel grips. Most shops have them for $10-$20.

For vibration nothing can beat the old Grab-on brand foam grips, $5-7 at most bike shops and you may still find them at walmart or other discount places in the bicycle section.

not sure how your bikes handlebars are set up, but mine are capped off. best bet is to treat them with some rust mort while the grips are off and paint the ends to keep the rust at bay.

Not to be off thread here, but I sprayed my whole bike with Corrosion Free undercoating in a spray can. Inside the welds, holes in the frame and every nook and cranny. I was getting rust every where, now there is none.

All the time I had my chinabike I heard people talk about vibrations. I didn't know what the problem was all about. Now with my 1972 CB350, the vibration level is intense. After burning a tank of gas on the highway doing 70-75mph I stop off at the gas station and get gas. Man it feels like an earthquake under my feet. I can put the vibes out of my mind while riding but when I stop.... 8O . More in the feet than the hands or butt.

Now that's funny.

What I meant is that if there are gel grips, how about gel foot pegs? Or at least anti vibration pegs????
