Does the Zong speedo show miles or kilometers? If it's km then it's just over 1292 miles.

That's a great deal! ....and don't anyone mention to Spud that it's a 'great starter bike', as the ad says....40,000 miles later! 8O

The Zong is well built, and has a tough little Yamaha engine; I love my Zong! In stock form the Zong is a nice little supermoto. However, be forewarned, the Achilles Heel of the Zong is its unconventional wheel sizes. If your friend wants to ride off road, he will not be able to find knobby tires for the unorthodox, 15-inch rear wheel. :(

Note the Spudwheel equipped and D/S tired Zong I posted about in the CL thread in the Miscelanious Forum. That one's in Yakima, not too far...

That fellow posted several threads on these forums last year. He laced his own wheels, and has the conventional 18-inch rear wheel, and 21-inch front wheel. Depending on the asking price, I would definitely recommend you consider buying his Zong.

I THOUGHT I recognised his bike! The compound bow was the give-away. His price is a bit steep at $1,200 but I figure anything under a grand would be fair.

I didn't check his ad. I agree, $1,200 is a bit high, but that's his asking price

That Zong only has 1,100 miles on it, Doc! 8O I hope someone on these forums is wise enough to purchase that bike.
