2006 Baja wilderness 250 Intake vacuum nipple?

Hello everyone!

I have a 2006 Baja wilderness 250 that uses a Yamaha Motor. I'm trying to figure out what the vacuum nipple on the intake boot connects to.

Thanks for any help!

It will go to the hose on the side of the carb. It operates the slide on the carb.

If you have the auto choke it will be the hose just to the left of the auto choke.

I have the non auto choke. The hose is still on the carb. I guess thats why i'm lean 17:1 afr above 3/4 and lose power.

I hooked that line up and my atv will run ruff for a second and die. Are you positive thats a vacuum line? It runs great with it off below 3/4 throttle.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm thinking of a different carb. That's an overflow on that carb. Not sure what the nipple was for on that particular engine. The nipple should be capped if nothing is connected to anything. With it uncapped you are loosing vacuum which is needed to operate the slide to open it up. That's why it won't run pass 3/4 throttle. If it still won't open pass 3/4 throttle after capping it then the slide is either stuck or you have a pin hole in the diaphragm on the carb.
