Hawk Plastica

Hi. I have been thinking about getting new plastics to paint up because I would like to keep mine as a backup. I was wondering what the cheapest place to get one would be.

Thanks
Fantastic Moto

Ok. I was wanting to have orange plastics is there a cheap way to get those or a way to change the colors cheaply. I understand the painting problem

+1 for plasti-dip. I used it on my Camaro and it worked great. You can order it all different colors. Holds up pretty well.

I have successfully used plastidip on a Harley before and it looked awesome, but it was obviously never dumped or ridden through tree branches....

Plastics seem to be hard to get, even in China I have nearly no option - I did post a set in Orange but head light cover differs.
Hawk factory gave some prices on panels but they seem to have gone quite and the bulky shipping costs are hard to judge till the plastics are boxed.
Lots of work for little to no rewards on my end.

FINALLY they accepted my order so I have 4 panels coming.
Damn slow and a drama but will have this AL chaps order ready soon I hope

Alot of the tt250 plastics are painted. Itll look bad if you beat up your plastics and throw them around

I've had good luck with Krylon Fusion on plastic panels. It reasonably durable, but not on fenders.

The Storm plastics are white and they just paint the colors on. Even over filling the gas tank like many of us have done was enough to cause some paint bubbles to form on the edges of the plastic. I hit mine with a soapy chore girl then 4 coats of flat black spray paint and it’s holding up well enough. My right tank cover is cracked from I think being backed into by a car and my front fender has been cut to fit the oil cooler along with all the gashes and scrapes from tree limbs so I don’t think using cheapo rattle cans was a bad idea lol.

I finally got the Hawk plastics for my AL customer - I have a couple extra panels too in red if anyone needs tank panels or the small panels on the side of the bike (red part only not the other black parts)
