I like it alot better than those mini-choppers, looks like it has plenty of power too. When do we get one?

it is available now thought about trying to open dealership but cant get the funding at this moment.
Hello Ray, Our chopper and ATV are the only models available in the US at the moment. The dual sport just finished production and the price will be released when we have finished the cost analysis. The chopper dealer cost is $3000 minimum order quantity is 5 units. We are selling samples at $2800 limit of two per client. The 250cc ATV dealer cost is $1000 minimum order is two units. If you would like I can mix an order for you to get started. I have attached a dealer application for you please fax or email it back. If you wish to place an order please give me a call or email me and let me know. |

Am I the only one struggling to convince himself that this is indeed a 250cc engine in the video?
It doesn't sound like it to me, but then I haven't heard them before....so I'm just making assumptions on how I think it might sound. It is deffinately different than the Pag 300 choppers...but those aren't V twins, they are parallel. In the end, if it is what it claims to be, I like! $3000 dealer cost is not too promising though. Cheap for a V-twin chopper for sure...but will it really be cheap (and dependable) enough to gain a following is yet to be seen. And they have to get them here and in the eyes of the buyers before it will have ANY chance. At least w/ the Pag bikes I can hit a local dealer and see them up close. Maybe one day I can do the same w/ the HB's too.

On blind faith, Hi-Bird has proven itself as a low-cost, reliable bike company with their Lifan GY-2 "replica" (remember that one, anyone?--Ebay galore, but reliable), their sport ATV's which people beat up, and it held up for under $1k, shipped, and last spring, when several members bought their 250 enduro, culminating with one member riding cross-country.
I think that this bike should be stout enough, but they will need physical dealers so people can see the bike in person. I like this bike, but am not a huge chopper fan, so anticipate the enduro set for release, and their imitation sportster, which sports the same engine as this bike. |

I found something worth a bit of a chuckle there too... On their main street bike page - http://www.motortoyshop.com/Street-Bikes_c_15.html They show the chopper in the "Items on Sale" section. 8O So I guess we're to assume $4800 is the sale price? Ummm....no thanks.

It looks nice. At least a full size bike. Not really my thing, but I would ride it.
I could see them selling for $3500. Allen

The Hensim is a good buy. The Hi-Bird is a little expensive, IMO, but it is in a niche more for showing off a little bit. The better bet is to get dealer pricing, which Hi-Bird is allowing people to do, but the Hensim seems to be a good commuter bike, for 1/2 price. It's a matter of what you want the bike for, and how much you are willing to spend.
