Finally but still have one question....

Well as some of you may know I had major problems when I purchased my Roketa DB-07A (RSX-200E) First started with a faulty motor then xxx-motorsports sent me a replacement motor only to find that the new motor didn't have the chain driven camshaft. Needless to say I also noticed that the motor wiring on this replacement didn't match up to my Roketa harness. So I still tried my best with that motor and never had any luck So finally after saving up my money and having the approval of the wife I purchased a new motor on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...1145563&rd=1,1

I finally have my bike up and running!!! However the front sprocket is a 14T but doesn't work with my chain. My rear sprocket measures 1/2 inch tooth to tooth, I think it is 56T but my front sprocket measures 5/8 inch on this new motor. So I assume that I need to get the 14T for a 428 chain, which would then make it stock?

Thanks,

Mike

Correct, the Lifan Engine with the OHC comes with a 520 sprocket, you need to change it to a 428.

Know any good place to get a 17T 428 front? Will I need to do anything to the chain?

What did you do with your sprocket off the original engine?

I just put one of those engines in mine and it most diffenently is a #520 size sprocket on there.I just swaped my old sprocket onto the new engine, done.

My original motor was shipped back to XXX-Motorsports. The replacement motor that they sent back has a 12T front sprocket but doesn't work either. So I have 2 Sprockets that do me no good.

I only have one spare as XXX-Motorsports required me to send the original faulty motor back to them before they sent the replacement.

I have listed this spare motor in the For Sale forum. I am including the intake manifold, and original carb with the spare motor.

So I purchased a 17t 428 front sprocket from ebay. I have a 56t rear. Will I run into problems with my chain being short? I checked my rear axle and I barely have anything left to move it forward.

I think it WILL be too short. You can always go to the local bike shop and pick up a few 428 links and another master link and lengthen it. Not a big deal. After a short while it'll stretch to fit anyway.
