question and comment for Spudrider
Spud,
I came upon pics of the Zong RX3 on another forum and thought what a cool concept! Adventure tour backroads and trails, getting 70 mpg! Then, today, I saw on this forum that this bike will be available here in the states and you are getting one! Good deal, extremely interested to hear details on this bike. Now my question, I remember you having knowledge of where a lot of these engines came from. If you remember, I have a Tank Trail 200. The motor is marked TK 167FML, the bike came with a manual that read care of the Zong Shen Motorcycle. Do you happen to know, 0r think, that that motor is a close copy of a Suzuki DR/SP 200 or Yamaha TW200? Thanks in advance, Gene

Gene,
If you post a photograph of your engine we can help you to positively identify it. However, I suspect your engine is a clone of a Honda engine.

Here it is, a little dusty engine
Thinking this might make a decent replacement engine for this 88 SP 200

As we suspected, you have an overhead valve clone of a Honda engine.

The do look close to the same size. Would require some custom mounts, but I think you could make it work.

Gene, if you swap that pushrod motor into your Suzuki, I'd love to see pics.
