Any else have issues getting an MCO out of Ricky PowerSports or Killer Motorsports ? KM was great about getting me some replacement parts last august that were missing off my bike but I have been trying to get my hands on an MCO so I can register it here and no luck. I have tried calling, submitting a request etc all with no luck

Anyone else have this issue ?

I had no problem for an ATV I got from them. It took about a week to get it.

I started asking back in August of last year. which is why my hawk has 8 miles on the odometer.

Wow, That's unusual. That is a long time. Don't know how you paid for it and may be too late to file for a refund if paid by credit card or paypal. Bet that would grab there attention. Did you receive a MCO with the bike? I know I had one that came with my hawk in the crate but had to request one that was notarized.

I think you can get hold of rickey powersports directly on this issue. I had a originally received one with a blatent typo, and a phone call to RPS got it straight. "make sure it states MOTORCYCLE in the type and not DIRT BIKE" to avoid Issues at the DMV

I purchased two bikes, one had the MCO in crate and arrived before the other did. The first bike was for a buyer of a “expedition” type truck who wanted a cheap motorcycle to mount to the back. The second was mine , which of course had the missing MCO etc. Not a big deal but annoying. I have called Rickey a couple of times and got a rather unhappy lady who said they don’t deal with ‘consumers’ and to call my dealer. Funny the invoice says RPS ...

I really love the bike and if I had to I could register it here in Vermont without the MCO just makes life easier. It’s all about the tax here and less than 250cc is easy. Fog a mirror and you walk out of the dmv with tags - provided you are fogging the mirror while writing a check for your reg and tax. It’s all about the tax here in the great Peoples Republic of VT.

Thanks for all the info and resources you guys put into this forum, it has been a Godsend for my little project.

I always found it easier to contact killermotorsports through email than by phone. It is surprising you are having such an issue getting the mco through them. Keep in mind it can take 3 weeks for it to arrive. Definitely not a quick process

Hey VT, I live in CT and Registered mine in VT and they didn't care about an MCO. Just a receipt so they could get the taxes. Under 300 cc you just give them $115 and they give you a plate, easy peasy.
