Clutch actuator lever upgrade
I picked this up from Tako recently, and thought it deserved a review. I was very skeptical on this being necessary or even good at all. The clutch isn't hard to use, and I worried that the lever throw would become too long. I was wrong, it's a great upgrade, and how the bike should have come. The engagement area on the stock bike is very narrow. Not that it's really hard to control, but not optimal. This makes the clutch both easier to control, and much softer to pull. A great upgrade.

Thanks. How exactly does this doo-dad help with the engagement area?

The clutch lever is longer, thus to the same amount of lever movement it produces less angle of the actuator shaft. The engagement point is spread over a larger range of lever movement. Also, as the lever arm is extended it takes less forcé to pull the lever.

Here it is and it fits ANY bike with the NC250 motor so AJP PR5, PitsterPro LXR250F Xmoto.... Kayo.... and more
BUT the NC250 older version and newer version motors are slightly different in the engine cases and covers so I need to know what you got etc. Old version is getting complex to buy as everyone is now making it only for new version and they do not mix well and cable isn't correct;y lined up if you use the wrong unit. |

This is the cheaper version but felt as if it was "Mickey Mouse" not such a sturdy and well thought out design, standard on the cheaper version Kayo etc

It absolutely does. You want this mod. I thought it was probably not going to be worth it, and then it was.

No drama and can do - I would need a photo that shows either 2 or 3 bolts near the sprocket on stator cover.
You might or might not have the new version engine/ceases etc in 2017 I would need to see the right area and sprocket area of you stator cover - if the phto I posted isn't clear but that shows me/you which you have etc. |

I just realized that I failed to actually answer this. I think I got interrupted while posting my last reply. Anyway it helps with the engagement area by making the lever travel slightly longer. So torque is multiplied, and speed is divided. Standard lever physics. You have a longer engagement area/travel at the hand lever.
