Camden Head
First forest i was going through. They were also doing back burning you can see it on the right. Last winter i got caught by dark and was lost briefly in this forest. There is also a nice camping spot not far from here, which i discovered while lost. Once out of the forest i crossed the Pacific highway. You can see Middle and North brother. There is also South brother mountain not far. Must be new bridge as it's not on gps. Cows enjoying the sun and grass. Longest straight road that i came across in all of my journeys in this area. This road that goes through national park is not far from the ocean. There are many camping spots. Just freshly poured gravel. Very tricky to ride as it feels like shallow sand. North Brother mountain and Watson Taylors lake in front. Dunbogan coastal town. Nice spot for boating. North Brother mountain. The view is spectacular from up there. These guys just finished their lunch when I arrived. Camden inlet into Gogley's lagoon. Soaking up autumn sun. View from headland, Dunbogan beach and Diamond head at the far end. Bridge over Camden Haven inlet I had fantastic day next day i realaised how much i missed exploring new spots.

Your pics made me realize how much I miss being in Australia. Can't believe it's been 10 years since I've eaten a Botany Bay Bug.

Thank you for the photos! The places you were riding are devoid of people making them better!

Thanks for posting the beautiful photographs from Oz, Pliskin! As always, your yellow Zong looks great. I particularly enjoyed the following photo.
If you are riding very much gravel, I suggest you might want to install a skid plate. You can get a stock, plastic, Zongshen skid plate from Taobao, which will serve you well. http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...&id=9073959426 Or, you can mount an aluminum, TW200 skid plate as I have done. http://chinariders.net/modules.php?n...ewtopic&t=8993 Spud

I also like your ingenious, lower fork guards!
Please remind me. Did you use PVC pipe to fabricate these guards? If you have time, please do post a thread detailing how you installed these fork guards. Spud

Thank you Spud. I used to have plastic skid plate but i removed it long time ago. Mainly to have good airflow. As for lower fork protectors, yes they work great. Feel a little embarrassed talking about it  but they look great. This is the material I used. I think it's for fence/garden skirting. To stop soil erosion. It's got plastic rubbery feel to it. This is the front side. You can see it does block things coming in contact with the fork. This is the right fork behind it. When installing i tried closing it but it wasn't holding shape. So I decided to leave it as it is. Left side. This was mainly done to stop dust and occasional small rock coming in contact with the shiny bit. It's very easy to clean any fine dust that does land on forks. It works remarkably well.

Using the fence skirting is ingenious, and it is obviously doing an excellent job protecting your forks. Thank you for sharing this tip with us, Pliskin.
