How bad is it to title a CSC in NC?
For you North Carolina buyers, what was needed to register the bike? Did they have to inspect it and see the vin number? Or did you just carry the paperwork into the DMV and walk out with a plate and a title?

Bought A SG400, Eh?
I'm going to go out on a short limb here and guess that you have a SG400 inbound?
Me too; it's scheduled for delivery this Friday. Unfortunately I'm based in Ohio, so I can't help you on your specific request regarding NC, but in the last six years of CSC selling bikes I don't recall anyone complaining about registration and titling problems in North Carolina. Connecticut on the other hand, is a state that comes to mind as far as making you jump through a few hoops; they appear to require in person VIN inspections on any bikes purchased from out of state, new or used. Other than them, it's usually a pretty smooth process with a CSC bike for most people, in most states. Having said that, and in light of your recent issues, I'm forced to admit that you appear to not be most people, lol. Here's hoping that it goes smoothly for you, |

Yes and no. IF it's possible to title the bike without them actually inspecting the physical motorcycle, I'm going to register the bike here, fly to california, ride it for two weeks, fly home, and THEN they'll ship it to me. But only if that's going to work out for my state. And yes, SG400 all the way!
