I did the 190 Swap!

Forget anything anyone has told you about bolt on performance mods. The 190 makes it a completely different bike. With the stock exhaust and no tune I went for a quick brap down the street and back. It's ridiculous. This is how the bike should have come.

Update:

I've installed the oil cooler and temporary 'race' exhaust. I got an Anti-gravity lithium battery but I'm thinking about returning it. I don't really need it.

Awesome! Was it a very expensive swap? Even if it was, it sounds totally worth it.
I'm looking forward to hearing about how it runs with a performance exhaust and some carb tuning.

congrats! Did you have any issues getting the clutch cable adjusted? I've been having a heck of a time.

The kit was $640 shipped. It requires an aftermarket pipe cause the stock one is too restrictive. It also requires a different throttle. I used this 1/4 twist throttle https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LFPF1W5/

Also, you will need wider bars unless you want that throttle tube hanging over the end of the bars.

You'll also want some solder ring butt end connectors or what not to connect the 5 wires and N to the existing harness.

@PhildoScaggins - It was kind of a pain to adjust. But, you have to use the clutch and throttle cables that come with the kit.

Funny, I was able to use my stock throttle cable. Kind of a pain to get seated in the carb but it seems like it will work.

In the ZS190 Swap FB group they say to use both cables that came with the kit and a new (adjustable) throttle tube to take care of the slop. I already had a aftermarket throttle tube. I assumed what they said was true.

Is there a lot of play in your throttle now?

If you have the venom you shouldnt need it. Its only the razkull and grom that have different bolt patterns.

The owner of Kronik Racing told me that even with the discount the retailers get from Pitster, Pitster's price directly to consumers is lower.

There is a guy on the FB clone groups selling them now for $650 shipped. I don't know if it is a complete kit. Others have purchased from him in the past and he is legit. He (sometimes) has them in black.

This is the group
