Cheap footpeg upgrade for the Hawk.

Po Boy footpeg upgrade with flat bar. Now before y'all start ripping on me about the fab work, keep in mind I did this out at my cabin. I didn't have a vice, only a welder, grinder, vice grips, torch, and the bumper of my Toyota 4x4. Worst part was cutting the teeth. 😤

😄 But the big pegs add 1.375" of width, sit level on the bike and definitely add a sense of security.

Nice job, I've thought about doing the same thing. Just never found the time to do it.

The teeth on the left one are bigger and sharper to keep my left foot on the peg better. I do this on any bike that goes off pavement. And thanks for the compliment Dan.

Nice job on the foot rests. Why buy when you can modify for little to no money.

This is my hand shifter, simple and works well and other riders can still use the foot shifter. Growing up on a dairy farm taught me the simpler and less moving parts you have the longer it will last. I need to repaint it, the torch burnt some of the paint off the lower half.

to much internal structure
holds the mud as it can not pass though..
turn the holes into one slot.. will help
if it is ever a issue for you...

but other than that they look great..

the mega dollar pivot pegs on my XT are like that
just don't clear...

Nice work on the shifter. Simple but functional.
