Looking for more streetworthy/less knobby tires, suggestions?

I have a qlink xp200 and would like to find a set of tires that are a little less knobby. I bought the bike because it was a great deal, but I do almost exclusively city riding. I'd like tires that would fare a little better in the rain and be less buzzy at speed. The tire sizes are 2.75-21 front and 4.10-18 rear but I can't seem to find any real non-knobby tires. Is this because they just aren't made for these sizes? Any help would be appreciated guys

I ran these duro medians and really liked them. Get the 90/90-21 front tire and the 4.10x18 rear. Also a 110/90-18 or 100/90-18 should fit.

Shinko also makes some good tires that are more street. I you don't ride dirt at all go for some pure street tires in the above sizes.

I recently put on the shinko 705s for just the same reason and I love them.

A couple of threads about them:

I've ridden them on wet pavement, not rain and they seem to have great grip and are super on dry pavement. The difference between the 705 shinko and the 244 originals is night and day, and I felt at less than $100 was a great deal for both front and rear.

Aww that's too bad about the wheels. I've been looking for XF wheels =/. I live in Buffalo actually so Silver Creek is relatively close.

And just curious on where you guys usually order tires, I'm new to this so am not familiar with where the good deals are.

Alright I just pulled the trigger on the 705s. Did a Google shopper search and managed to get front and rear for $95+free shipping. Didn't seem too crazy to me. If this thread doesn't get buried I'll post back how they ride/feel/fit.

Boy I wish we could get tires here for those prices... I don't think that any of the US companies will ship tires to Canada. I have to buy mine here and they are usually about double of what you would pay in the States.

I feel bad for the prices you guys get charged for everything up there. Most suppliers have no real explanation for it either.

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC doesn't carry many of the Shinko tires, Doc. I have learned Motorcycle Superstore usually has the largest selection, and best prices for Shinko Tires. I really like my Shinko 524, front tire, which I bought from Motorcycle Superstore. However, I buy most of my other tires from Rocky Mountian ATV/MC.
