Hammel 125 Cruiser

Hi. I have a 2007 Hammer Cruiser 125cc with only 3000 kms on the clock.

Problem I have is that the emissions have gone through the roof, and therefore cannot pass its road safety tests here in Spain.

Does anyone have any ideas what could cause this, and also the best way to lower/reduce the emissions.

Carbs have been off several times, cleaned and set. Mixtures adjusted both ways too.

I seem to be running out of options.

Thanks guys

Parallel twin like this? http://es.advisto.com/subastas-anunc...otos-43950.htm
'07 bike is supposed meets Euro 2 emission. What's fail in that report = NOx/ CO/ HC... = ?
What's the air filter's condition ? ... Put SAI back to stock condition... Spark plug in working order ? Misfire = gas mixture too rich...
Find somewhere w/ nobody & poullte the air... Ask around what's the favourite brand in Spain...

Don't mess w/ mixture. Thin copper wire in jets restricts fuel flow is 1 of the old tricks to scam the test...
If the cat F***ed, no matter what u tried it still fail...

Ok, thanks for the info...... will give it a try.

Air filter seems ok, as even without filter emissions were still high.

Will next try a pair of new spark plugs!!

Whats the 'SIA' you suggested?

Thanks

Don't know if it would work on this bike but I passed emissions in Illinois with a yugo car that had the cat. gutted....I put a strong mixture of denatured alcohol in the gas that was supposed to lean it out. Worked like crazy and almost no emissions at all on the report they gave me.
