Replacement Hawk Mirror Mount?

I tried showing my boyfriend how to ride the Hawk today, and unfortunately he dropped it on its left side. He's okay mostly, just some scraped skin and a cut or two, the mirror mount on the left side that the clutch cable connects to, snapped off essentially (should have taken mirrors off in hindsight). In the attachment, the piece I'm referencing is highlighted in red. Right below the screw point for the mirror, that part snapped off. Does anyone know where I can get a new piece for that and have any tips on how to redo the cabling there? or would it be simpler to have somebody just weld the part back on? I'll take some pics of my actual bike here in a second for better reference.
