Front tire position

On the hawk I noticed the front tire is a little closer to on side then other in relation to the forks. Will moving one fork correct this? I mean if I loosen the bolts from the fork tree and slide one of the forks up or down until there's equal distance?

Interesting... any picture?

At first I thought mine was because rim is offset from the hub due to loose spokes. My buddy turned the steering wheel against the steering stop, gave the front wheel a good kick, and it aligns perfectly again. That is what we did on the trail. I will loosen clamps and then re-tighten them. Upside down forks with thicker tubes would be less prone to this...

Edit: Loosening the fork clamps had no effect. I tried to lift one fork higher, and after a few bounces it came right back. The source must be fork twist and caused by triple clamp's top steering stem nut... project to come...

On mine and several others I've noticed the top of the tire sits closer to the left fork. I think this is caused by poor casting and there's really nothing you can do about it.

Edit: What I'm referring to is the front axle mounts on the forks not being machined properly/horizontally, not the tire being tweaked left or right. And I think the OP is referring to this as well.
