Good evening folks! I am an older experienced rider who is looking to get a light dual-sport to hang off of the back of my motorhome. Weight is the prime consideration, I would like to stay in the 200# range. I'looking at the Hawk 125 K015. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Be safe!

I have not heard anyone report on owning one, but these pitbikes turned dual-sports are neat little machines.

There is a brand who import and sell their own bikes called Orion Motorsports. They have a 125cc pitbike of their own which costs more, but does include shipping and assembly and is lighter to boot (although you probably would still want to go over everything to make sure the bolts are locktighted and whatnot).

If you want to be king of the pitbikes, Orion also offers a 190cc pitbike dual-sport, but is more of a performance machine and I do think the 125cc versions will suit your needs.

How big a motorhome are we talking here? How often will the bike be hitch mounted and rolled off and will weight be a factor. Does the bike need to be road legal/registerable?

Is 18"/21" wheels preferred etc...

Welcome aboard! If it doesn't need to be street legal there's the Venom Thunder dirt bike. Some people have managed to get them registered and tagged by adding turn signals and mirrors. https://www.venommotorsportsusa.com/...39475048677478

How tall are you and what physical condition are you in? I ask because I was considering a pit bike. That was until I tried sitting on one. I have bad knees and found I had trouble getting my feet up on the pegs while seated. If that is a issue for you, you might not be able to get a foot down fast enough if you have to stop quickly.
