Hawk 250 transmission won't GO!!!!
I have a 2023 hawk 250 DLX, Just after hitting 1000 miles I was on my way home and as I was coming from a stop my transmission slipped and just stopped giving me power to my wheel in all gears. I got home and thought it was an issue with the cable but it was not. So I changed all the clutch pads, plates, and springs. every gear still acts like neutral. When I roll the back tire with the clutch cover off I can see the clutch basket is not moving. I think it may be the output shaft or something but I cant find any forums online of anyone having this issue. so it was not the clutch cable. there is nothing stopping the gear shifter from shifting through all the gears. and the plates are not stuck together. I have no idea what to do at this point. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Not that this is necessarily your specific issue, but it might give you an idea of where to start looking:

The shift ratchet pawl is well known to sometimes be an issue. Usually it's bent, likely bent when it was installed during assembly, or some other easy to correct alignment issue.

I’m thinking this problem came from a chain to tight. This has happened before and reported on. Your first post I believe lead us in a different direction. Glad to see the problem fixed and you letting us know that…

Also, they don't hold it on to the wheel. That's what the snap ring does. The studs are there to engage the 4 rubber bushings in the hub to act as a cush drive.
