Greetings from Tarentum, PA
Hey,
I'm a self-employed handyman and scrapper living about 15 miles NE of Pittsburgh, PA. As partial payment for work I did, I acquired several scrap items located in a field, including a 2006 Wildfire (GY200) dual-sport bike, along with a 70-something Rockford Tora juvenile dirt bike. Instead of scrapping them, I intend to fix them both up as a "father/son" experience. So far, I've broken the motor on the Wildfire free, and stripped both bikes to the frame and taken off the rust (bikes sat outside for 4 years, I was told). I'll be posting my progress here, as well as picking the collective brain of you here for info. Pictures to follow, soon. |

Welcome!
You've hit on two of my activities: China bikes and scrap. I'm not the only one like that here, either.

Welcome to here! The Wildfire sounds right up our collective alley. Not familiar with the other bike.
