Hawk 250 reborn and rebuilt

Hello! I finally have finished rebuilding my hawk. I spent a total of $420 to rebuild it all. My bike has lots of custom parts, and the engine had lots of work put into it. So I took the engine out and put it in the hawk i bought. The one i bought had a motor that isnt locked, but was ran without oil until it killed itself.

My swingarm on my original hawk, the bushing on the sprocket size was destroyed. probably from doing constant clutch drops and wheelies. The rear suspension also needed to be replaced since the bushings were getting out of round.

I replaced all the fluids in my rebuilt hawk, replaced the front rim( the front rim on the bike I bought was really out of true) with an aluminum rim. put my flush mounts on the back.

I also repainted the swingarm and some of the frame with enamel paint. And then plastidipped my plastics an off white color.

Put it all back together and she runs absolutely great.

Nice work! Man...whatever you originally hit, I'd steer clear of it. ;-)

For those of us new to the forum, what's the backstory here? Very interesting.

Welcome back to two wheels. I applaud you for fixing it, I think most people would have just scrapped it and got something else at that point.
