Chain Slider Hawk 250

I tried searching for existing threads but couldn't find exactly what I wanted. My chain slider is not even close to being in the right position and it looks like some drilling, riveting, and brace making might be what Ill have to do.

I saw Motocheesz' video but I can never see a good shot or picture of it post install in detail to copy.

What Motocheez did is pretty much what most of the other guys here did to some degree. What I ended up doing on my last Hawk was drilling out a hole on the side and putting in a thread-sert in a position to put the original screw and washer into where it allowed the thing to lay flat, and then I just trimmed off the little nub on the top that went into the swing arm (before doing so). That allowed it to lay flat and be in a much better alignment.
