Is there a particular style of bike you were looking at?

Bikes
I was initially drawn to the San Gabriel but I like the options of the dual purpose bikes. However I am concerned about there seat comfort. I don't mind a bike that needs a few things done to it to make it better, they all do.:thanks

welcome from another vertically challenged guy.
for the type of riding you listed I don't think a dual sport would be my first choice, I would be looking at the cafe's and cruisers. |

Welcome to the forum. X2 on the San Gabriel. I'm thinking about picking one of those up myself. For the amount of highway riding you plan to do, I think it'll be a perfect fit.

I also think the SG250 would be a great bike for you. The seat is actually pretty low, so for those of reduced altitude it actually fits pretty well.

Welcome! Another bike to consider similar to the CSC San Gabriel is the Dongfang 250 RTG. There is a thread started by member Barnone, and a few other members have taken the plunge and are also posting their experiences on the same thread.
