Looks cool but I wonder how much difference 50cc will make over the heavily modded 200's out there.

I suppose right out of the box it might be pretty good, even better with the mods.

Now that I'm thinking about it, watercooling opens lots of possibilities! I think I need to ignore this thread now!

Correct.

On a Chinabike it opens the possibility of coolant leaks, broken radiator mounts, failed water pumps, and overheating. :?

I'm sure you do. I think I must have been thinking along the lines of liquid cooling on a computer. Which now that you have said what you said, equals the same thing! In my experience anyway. Ok, You win!

I just hope the 250 doesn't share the same swing arm issues as the 200.

Thanks to member ChinaV on mychinamoto who lives in China and has snapped some photos of the new Lifan bikes destined for the US at one of the bike shows, there are actually much better photos of the naked bike and the GY-7--I can't understand why Lifan did not and does not take decent photos of its own bikes?!

(scroll down the thread and you will see what I am talking about...)

The new Lifans look very promising--the GY-7 will go head to head with the new Qlink/Shineray XF250. If only Pitster stayed in the game, we would have had 3 liquid-cooled motard 250's to pick and choose from!

That V-twin has possibilities, but it needs a better exhaust design in that naked bike.

I agree! I always get the shivers whenever I see an exhaust pipe hanging that low on a motorcycle. 8O
