Battery Charge Time

I got a motorcycle battery charger from walmart to charge the new battery. The charger is 1.5Amp trickle charger. How long should the total battery charge time be for 12V-7Ah

The manual that came with the charger does not mention an auto shut off. The green light on the charger said it was charged and I only had it on the charger for about 1 hour. I didn't see any bubbles in the battery so I don't think this green light is correct.

I also found the negative was missing the screw and square nut so I had to find something that would work from my shed. I found the perfect size nut&bolt for the job.

In any event, I don't see an auto shut off, don't see any battery bubbles, and don't know if leaving on overnight would be okay to make sure I have a good full charge.

7 amp batt...1.5 amp/hr charger =4.67 hrs charge time
howevera common first time charge is let acid sit in batt for a couple hours then charge all night....8 to 12 hrs.

There is some charge in the battery to begin with. If the charger said it was charged, run it. It'll be fine. My charger ran about 20 minutes and was done when I first charged my Roketa. You're fine.

Thanks

Thanks for the answers. I installed the battery and it appears to be working. We'll see how it does in a few days.
