2017 Bashan Storm wheel & tire upgrade?

Hi, brand new to this forum although I have crept it for a while LOL.

Quick question, has anyone with a Bashan Storm 250 upgraded the wheels and tires? I was looking to upgrade both.. The tire size is hard to find already on the stock wheels that come on it. Info I do know is....

rim sizes are..

front 19x1.85
rear 17x2.15

tire sizes are..

front 90/90-19
rear 110/90-19

willing to switch up both wheels to something more common if that's possible.

As far as tires...
What kind of tire do you want? Dual sport, Street, dirt?

The Shinko 244 comes in sizes that will work with your stock rims.
Front tire: 2.75x19
Rear Tire: 4.6 x 17.
The front will be a bit skinnier than the stock tire, and the rear a little bit wider, but they will work fine, and are a good dual sport tire option.

With a 1.85 front wheel width, you could run a 100/90-19 or 100/80-19 front tire, this opens up a few more dual sport options

For road tires, there are a few options out there in those sizes, which isn't too surprising given the diameter of the wheels.

Obviously, the easiest wheel sizes to get tires for in a dual sport application is 21 inch front and 18 rear. In that instance, you would need to track down some rims of the appropriate diameter with 36 holes, and either lace them up with custom spokes or find spokes that work.

Another potential option would be to buy a set of TT250 wheels front and rear. From what I can tell the Storm and the TT250 utilize the same, or a similar front hub assembly, and even use the same type of brake disc. They both use the same basic rear brake and rear hub/sprocket setup as well, with the TT250 having the only difference being the rear sprocket bolting on.

Obviously, you would want to confrim a few things with a TT250 owner if considering this path, such as brake rotor bolt pattern and speedometer drive style on the hub, but I think this would be the easiest and cheapest path to take.

Shinko 241 (the trail tire) had a 3.50-19 that more similar to stock size

I don't see the real gain for 2 inches in the front a 1 in the back, I would only be interested if it was cheap and would bolt right up with no mods.

I already can't touch flat footed, i would however be interested in a heavier knobby like the Shinko 700, That's just my thoughts.
