Thumbs Up Storm head pipe

I took a bit of a gamble and ordered a head pipe for a CSC TT250 to put on my storm. It paid off no catalytic converter and it is the same bend as the stock storm pipe! It was $17 plus shipping. I'm waiting on a jet kit for the keinhin carb. I also have a 17/45 sprocket set and a RK chain coming. There is not a lot of Storm Mods info on the web so I will do a nice pdf file article of the mods and provide the links so others will be able to do these mods too.

Update. The head pipe needed to be e shortened by about an inch and a half. But other there than that it fit. All of the mounts mated up once it was shortened. With the baffle in it has a high pitch tweet like an old VW bug. I want to drill out the rivers and remove the baffle so it sounds a little more manly.

Exhaust pipe is now over $24 + another $15 to ship

Have any pics of it installed?

What amazes me is that the replacement TT250 head pipe doesn't have a catalytic converter in it. It makes me wonder if the stock TT250's come without a cat as well.

The cat is sold as a separate part. It must fit into the muffler section. The stock gearing turned out to be 17/45. I was going on what Hawk guys are doing. I guess they hear the storm higher than the hawk. I should have counted before I ordered. But I will hang on to the sprockets for future replacement.
