Exhaust options: Ebay Lifan 200cc

Hello all, the motor on my 76 Honda XL175 bit the dust, so I've been retrofitting a 200cc Lifan motor into it. I've got it running after having to more or less rebuild the entire wiring harness, but I have several questions still that I need to figure out. The first and foremost is what I can do for exhaust options. If I can find an exhaust header with a flange, I can bend some pipe and have a new exhaust welded together. However I'm having trouble finding anything for this particular motor.

My understanding is that the Lifan branding on the motor doesn't necessarily mean that they're the company that built it. Does anyone know what else these motors are branded as so I can expand my search for a header?

Thanks!

That one has the wrong type of flange where it connects to the cylinder head.

Agreed. The Honda XR200 flange is correct.

Alright now I'm finally getting somewhere, thanks everybody.

So an xr200 pipe will work? Something like this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/80-1980-Hond...BZJoqk&vxp=mtr

Ideally I'd like to be able to have a pipe that comes down off the head and goes low and outside the bike, rather than it channeling through the frame like my XL exhaust and how it looks like the XR exhaust does. Anyone know of a place that would sell a chinese clone of the U pipe leading from the head out?

Something like this for example?

A Honda CG125 exhaust might work as is.

I'm not saying that an XR200 pipe will work; I'm saying that the flange is correct. the CG125 pipe you linked may or may not be correct.

The XR200 pipe is "bent" the wrong direction... flange fits PERFECT to the engine, but the rest of the pipe not so much... it will "fit", on the outside of the frame and will be about a mm from your leg if you try to ride... don't ask me how I know that

Just got myself an xr flange and it does fit great. I'm looking for an exhaust similar to the cg125. I'm going to go troll the marketplace and see if I can find anything. I may end up taking the bike to a shop to have the exhaust fabricated. I'm not very keen on spending 150 dollars and waiting several weeks for a thai/Chinese Cg exhaust that may or may not work

I got my CG exhaust in 4 days after ordering for $127 with free shipping. There are US sellers of the exhaust on ebay.

Bingo that's it right there. I actually just managed to find a header the other day. I was in San Francisco visiting and stopped by a shop that had an exhaust from a 150cc Taiwanese bike laying around. 50 bucks!
