Looking forward to weekend ride: Maintenance Questions

Hello all, I have a few questions:

1. I read on a DS setup thread on this forum, to replace the spark plug wire. Will this work:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GU0Z9A/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX 0DER

2. Perhaps wishful thinking, but I was hoping for a Zerk to grease the rear axle. Dumb thought right? Is it pretty much the same procedure then for greasing the front tire: remove axle bolt, apply grease to axle bolt, re-install axle bolt, make sure wheel is straight and chain tight. Is there a thread or video on this?

3. Chain replacement. I'd like to order a new chain just in case the stock one is crap. What chain do I get? I know I have a 46 tooth rear sprocket. Would you also need to know the front sprocket teeth count in order to know what chain to get? Would this one work?

https://www.amazon.com/RK-Racing-Chain-428SO-130-Connecting/dp/B004ZG7X14%3FSubscriptionId%3DAKIAJZ74L6MCPARTLKTQ %26tag%3Dhawk250-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165 953%26creativeASIN%3DB004ZG7X14

thanks

I believe the "spark plug wire" is one contingent thing, paired with the ignition coil. Never had to replace it so I personally do not know. Here's what you'd be looking at:
https://www.amazon.com/Chinese-Ignit...+ignition+coil

I have the same chain with a 16/44T set up, you just measure the chain, there's a systematic way of knowing how many links to take off, but I forget. I think I ended up taking 4-5 links out. I'm sure a couple of the more experienced individuals will chime in

I put a grease zerk on my swing arm. I pump it full of grease mostly to keep any water out when I go off roading. I do run through deep water and mud with it.

Unibear make a good chain. Your stock chain may be 130 link. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ACMEZCE...I3JSP25IAKW4M1

I dropped the entire "Made In China" Ignition Coil and Plug Wire set-up on our Bashan... no more weak and intermittent spark issues

Coil on Plug anyone?

Count on the stock one being crap.
This is the chain I put on the TT250 and I now have these chains on all of my rolling stock, I was so impressed with them for the price.

Taken from a motorcycle... bought a 4 pack set on eBay, complete with the wire harness for under $70 a long while back... originally bought it for my KLR 650... and found out they work on the China Bike just as easily...

They are usually about the same price all the time on eBay or a Pick and Pull Junk Yard... 60 to 100+ $$ for a 4 pack... most of the time they show up with the connectors being sold separate

I still have 2 left sitting in a box if I (or anyone) ever needs them

Thanks for the link. I'll look at ordering one. JerryHawk250 mentioned that it's possible I have a 130 link chain...so, I guess counting the actual links is on my agenda for the weekend.

My Q took a 132 link and I can run a plethora of different sprockets without any trouble.
The 128 link on our TT250 runs a 17 front and a 47 rear and has lots of adjustability.

Best just to count.

That was me when I counted the sprocket, and I only had to count to 46!

My hawk came with a 130 link but removed 2 links when I switch to the 40 tooth sprocket. 128 may be okay. get busy counting.

As long as its a 2 wire direct ignition coil it should work. I found a few $15-25 each. I think the mid 2000 F150 and Chrysler used a 2 wire coils.
