Short person bike???
So i ordered 2 Hawks today. A buddy is going to pick up one of them and his wife wants to ride too. Problem is she is 4'10" and would NEVER be able to ride a Hawk. Seems there is nothing in between though. Only little pit bikes or big dual sports. What would be perfect is one like the bike i had as a kid. It was a street legal Yamaha 80 Enduro. Had decent size tires, not these tiny pit bike tires and would do 50 on the road but was great off road. Any ideas????

Perhaps a CT70 clone, I believe they are street legal, auto trans optional, low seat height. Really a perfect learner....that's how we did it in the 70's

Perhaps you could first figure out a seat height that works for her and go from there. If she can handle a 31" seat height, I'd highly recommend a TW200. They're wonderfully easy to ride, and they're very stable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_TW200

Not sure where you live, but maybe you can find a sweet old XL100 in your area, like this one: http://grandforks.craigslist.org/mcy/5185500472.html
