Specs of Zongshen TT 250cc bike

Does anyone know the specs of the TT 250cc bike?
Such as; weight, wheelbase, horsepower, extended cruising speed, fuel tank capacity, seat height, final gear ratio, etc.
Just curious to see if I should stay interested in this potential model?

The people at CSC are very friendly. I suggest you give them a telephone call.

Waiting for a reply from CSC

Spud,
I have visited, in person, CSC in Azusa two previous times, on my travels back and forth to Palm Springs. I know they are nice people.
But, I have previously asked CSC for the information about the Zongshen TT, and am still waiting for a reply to my request.
I posted the question on this site in hopes someone on this site might have the information I'm requesting.

I'm surprised you are still awaiting a reply. Perhaps others can reply regarding the specifications of the several bikes similar to the Zongshen TT. Of course, the several varieties of these bikes have slightly different features, so only CSC really knows the exact specs for the TT bike they might sell.

Thumbs Up Received a reply today

Spud and members,
I received a reply from Steve @ CSC regarding my inquiry about the TT250cc.
The official nomenclature for this bike is GY250TT.
Steve said that the bike is currently undergoing testing to meet the requirements for sale in the U.S.A., And when they are finished CSC will be posting full information regarding this bike.
Good to know. I'm excited about this bike as I believe it will meet my riding needs better than the RX-3. I have a lot of back country nearby that I'm interesting in exploring more thoroughly. And I sure hope that it will be available in the color "WHITE"!

I'm in Nor Cal. You being in Pismo, will this new model be CA legal to street register? That's one of the unfortunate parts of living here. C.A.R.B. can be ruthless unless the proper palms are greased and every hoop is jumped through for approval. I was interested in one of Spud's Zongs back in the day and my CB dealer said that with how many they sell globally and in the other states, the CA market wasn't worth the hassle and cost to get approval.

It will be interesting to see how this model works out.

If they decide to sell the bike, I'm pretty sure CSC is going to get CARB certification, and 50-state approval for this motorcycle.

2LZ,
Since CSC went to the trouble and expense to CARB approve the RX-3, they will probably do the same with the GY250TT. But that is only my guess.
Since "back in the day" there seems to be a lot more availability of CARB approved motorcycles from China. So the market must have improved for dealer/sellers in California. Time will tell. But at least it's an interesting subject!
