Shock Gators / Protectors
Anyone know where I can find gators for the front shocks, to protect them from rock chips and damage?
Thanks, RD |

The things Bruce is talking about are the black things on the top half of the forks. They can only be used on bikes that do not have the inverted forks.

Fork Gators
Now that is interesting. Thanks for posting your pics.
My forks (Model LF200 GY-5) are inverted. I did not know that there were two fork designs for these type of bikes (inverted and not). Still looking for these things. Any suggestions? RD |

My GY with standard forks came with the rubber boots installed.
blimpman put those on his inverted forks before he sold his bike. See the pics here... http://www.chinariders.net/modules.p...ewtopic&t=1806

ImEasy, Thanks!
Yes he sure did, right after he purchased the bike from me he installed them. The only thing you need to do is put tiny holes on the top side so they will drain condensation. They will go on upside down, compared to standard forks.
