I'm in love! It's got the look of a classic board track racer, but I also like the backbone over the tank. I'd promptly move the front signals to a higher position, but the rest of it is a refreshing style.

I also love it. As you all will remember I like different, and I like simple. This bike is both, and evokes the image of the pre-1920 board track racers. Excellent! Needs a bigger motor though. For me even 200cc is at the bottom end for a commute-capable motorcycle.

I'm familiar with that design, but CG motors seem to fall out of the sky. My most recent aquisition was $10.00.

Apparently, this slipped under our radar in the US. I guess the designer makes mopeds or scooters and is expanding to larger bikes. Seems similar to Cleveland Cycle Werks in that the primary guy is a designer, and the bikes are retro. There are a couple of articles about these bikes, which will use the familiar Loncin 223cc engine. I would not be surprised if they are Skyteam manufactured, in that it would be win-win even competing with their own Ace. They already do that with their retro minis sold via a few brands such as Pitster Pro, SSR, Trail Buddy, Pirahna, etc.

Hooper had the Lifan 250 V Twins for about $1,000.

if the other skyteam prices are an indicator, it should retail for around 1500 A $. a 250 may work, would be worth the try. but a bigger engine would break the welding seams IMHO. at any rate, being a hardtail, it would suit the secondary roads and the coffee shops (if only the coffee were any good around here

)

i wrote to the aussie importers and haven t got a reply yet. i m keen to buy one if and when.
