High from Peru

My name is Andy, I am a teacher at a local high school and will be in Peru for another three years or so. I was looking for a Honda Tornado when I saw an advert in the local press about Zongshen and their RX3. I had before several bikes, specially for off road use and I am interested in the durability of the RX3...any people here who have already 10000km or more on their clock?? What's to look for especially??.
Lots of questions, I know, but I am confident to find the right answers here on the board

Welcome; we are glad you joined us from Peru.

I have only ridden my Zongshen RX3 about 3,000 kilometers. I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

However, if you do buy an RX3, I suggest you periodically check all the bolts and nuts of the exhaust system for tightness, especially the nuts on the exhaust header.

What about a complete different exhaust...like FMF or so? Maintenance in general won't be a problem...I am used to do mostly all by myself .

I'm sure you can make an aftermarket muffler fit the RX3, but I don't know of any kit specifically manufactured to fit the Zongshen RX3.

It is well you do most of your own maintenance.
