High from Peru

My name is Andy, I am a teacher at a local high school and will be in Peru for another three years or so. I was looking for a Honda Tornado when I saw an advert in the local press about Zongshen and their RX3. I had before several bikes, specially for off road use and I am interested in the durability of the RX3...any people here who have already 10000km or more on their clock?? What's to look for especially??.
Lots of questions, I know, but I am confident to find the right answers here on the board

Cheerioand always the rubber side down, OK.

Welcome; we are glad you joined us from Peru.

I have only ridden my Zongshen RX3 about 3,000 kilometers. I haven't had any problems whatsoever. However, if you do buy an RX3, I suggest you periodically check all the bolts and nuts of the exhaust system for tightness, especially the nuts on the exhaust header.

What about a complete different exhaust...like FMF or so? Maintenance in general won't be a problem...I am used to do mostly all by myself .

I'm sure you can make an aftermarket muffler fit the RX3, but I don't know of any kit specifically manufactured to fit the Zongshen RX3.

It is well you do most of your own maintenance. You might enjoy reading the RX3 maintenance tutorials posted at the CSC website, which is linked below.
