New Guy, Which Dealer To Buy

Hello all, just joined. Had a few bikes back in the day ZX750 KZ1000 Kawis, Harleys and more.

Looking to purchase a Magician. I have already purchased exhaust, different side panels and even a larger tank I may or may not use. I can even drill the jets, done it in the past and pretty handy on bikes. Below are a couple projects I built last year.

Looks like all the dealers have good and bad transactions. I even think most stores are owned by the same person if not all lol. Was sold on Q9 but someone just had a problem here. Also looking at Killer.

But to be honest I sent an email to a few and asked what to do if I receive the crate in bad shape and all said to accept it and not refuse it except TXPowersports, they said refuse it.

Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Frank

P.S. Wife says just get a Harley or Honda lol. But I like a challenge.

Welcome to here! It seems that all dealers seem to be hit or miss. A couple west coast powerhouses that members have good/bad things to say include Superior Powersports https://www.superiorpowersports.com/...ycle_s/201.htm

and Powersports Max https://www.powersportsmax.com/index.php/cPath/33_83

So a couple more to disregard...

Welcome.

Who to buy from? Pick your poison as they all have good or bad reviews. I have bought two bikes from Killermotorsports with good luck, but that doesn't mean they are perfect, especially now that they are under new owners. Who knows what may have changed.

Welcome, Frank! Extra points for showing amazing bikes in your first post. I'm especially diggin' that sweet baby blue number. I love the in-frame tank.

Thank you guys.

Hi Weldangrid, I built a few of these bikes to keep me from getting a motorcycle. But as fun to build and ride these bikes they just don't cut it. They just can't do what a real bike can do. So here I am.

Don't plan to ride much per year maybe 1500 miles a season and all on local roads. That's why I'm going for a CB / Magician. Have the parts to transform it to the photos below. Heck, will be like having two bikes.

Back to which dealer, maybe time to put names in a hat and just pick one lol.

Have a Magic 8 Ball laying around? It would be fitting since you want to get a Magician after all.

Bought My Hawk from Wholesale Motorsports in Brighton, Mi. being that I live in Mi. I liked the idea of looking it over before purchasing it. No complaints they were easy to deal with and the bike s running good so far, took it out tonight for a little ride cause the weather warmed up a bit and the roads dried up so went looking at Christmas lights in the subdivision still a little to cold, so parked it back in garage for winter.

You guys do realize they just tell RPS out of TX to ship you the bike right? The price difference between dealers is $0.00-$40.00 and they all are hard or impossible to get to back up the warranty they all include in the purchase price.. But yeah you're just paying someone to order the bike for you...

I would say that most of us know this.
