Tao Tao 110cc
Hi I have a 110 cc Tao tao kids ATV, I'm having trouble getting it started, it's brand new I bought it in January of this year, when I start it or try to start it I push the button on the handlebars, and I hear clicking in the starter solenoid but no fire, so I replaced the starter solenoid, and no change still hear clicking but no fire. I have ordered a new starter and I hope that fixes this issue but I have no idea what else to do if this doesn't fix it. Any thoughts or help are greatly appreciated!!!

starting problem
a lot of times your battery is no good... it takes a charge and your battery charger says it is charged... BUT it does have enough in it to start.... the solenoid you can jump it post to post... the starter you can check for [power on th e main wire going to the starter.... if you have another SMALL battery..... not you car battery... you can jump the battery or go right to the starter... many times people think and say... my battery is good... when it is not..... so have you battery check at many places who check it for FREE... NAPA , PARTS SOURCE.. OBRIENS...AND OTHER PLACES.. ten to one... it is the battery

Sounds like a bad battery but I would also check all your grounds and connections before buying a battery.
