Finding the correct swingarm for my new to me ATV

Hi folks,

I'm trying to identify this freebie ATV so I can get a new swingarm for it. I snapped some pix of it last night. I would like to get it in operating condition as my youngest has outgrown her battery powered ATV.

I _*think*_ it is a Tao Tao, but looking at their site, there are some discrepancies - there are NO front brakes (that boggles my mind), and there is a rear rack, otherwise I would think that this is an ATA-110h1 (no gear selector, completely automatic).

I've seen some swingarms on the net that looks like the business end would match up, but instead of the three 'cross bars' there is one piece of box stock.

I've attached some pix, hopefully someone can help.

Here's the swingarm I've found on the 'net:

I'm not sure that we'll be able to identify it in a fashion that allows you to order machine-specific parts. The swingarm you found looks to be of better construction, particularly how the axle mounts are welded on.

WeldandGrind,

This one may be the right one

I'll have to get it on the lift and pull it to measure everything up.

If not, I'll have to buy a friend a beer or 3 and have them weld the original up.

Sorry .. I did not see where you were... please go to the TAOTAO USA WEB SITE.. and you will see the local warehouse.. and they may tell you a dealer closest to you to get the part... they have a good warehouse system... 2 in CANADA & 4 in the USA.. this maybe a older model with the rack... or someone put it on there..

Well... the swingarm is off, now I can take measurements.

Pulled the carb as well...YUCK!

At least it runs...after having cleaned out the carb.

I just ordered a new carb. Doing that was more cost effective than ordering just the float bowl gasket (that was leaking).

Is the swingarm you found online a decent price? It looks like it matches, with a slight difference in shock mount height. Not only that, but it looks like a better design.

Weld,

Yeah, it isn't bad - $56 US plus shipping. The exact match I found is over $100. I have an email in to one of the places that carry the 'updated' design - hopefully they'll get back to me with measurements.

Taotao dealers

Hello... did you check the taotao website to find the local warehouse??? they will get you the right part.. they may not be as cheap as on the net.. but it will be the right part.. there is 4 warehouses in the USA.. TAOTAO is the largest Chinese manufacture in north America... I do not think there is any larger.. warehouse sites all over the USA

Is the one I linked above the correct replacement? They look completely different.

What's your part number? or do you have a link?

Thanks,

-travis

I called TaoTao, the nice lady on the phone informed me that I have an Eagle ATV, not a TaoTao. Still not sure which model it is though!
