Be safe out there.

It goes without saying for most, but sometimes it helps to have a reminder.

I lost a really good friend this morning, and it just has me thinking about a lot of things.

Wear as much gear as you can, watch out for crazies, ride like everybody is out to get you.

Stay safe out there.

Good sound advice Dan. Sorry to hear we lost a fellow rider that was close to you. There's a lot going on right now so it's easy for people to get distracted.

His name was Ian. He was just 27 years old. Finished up his degree in industrial technology and had found a nice girl just a few months ago. It's amazing how unfair the world can be at times. He would spend all night helping you work on something, even if he had to work that next morning. Always had a smile on his face that made others smile and he just had a "go getter" kind of attitude.

This was from a ride earlier this year. He got me out on my bike knowing I was in a bad place, just to get me out of the house.

He was a good guy, as good as they come.

Very, very sorry to hear about your friend, Dan. You guys need some sort of group ride in his honor, in order to honor the man and continue his legacy.

So sorry to here. It's always the good ones.

Yes guy's , wear your gear. One of my daughter friends from High School came by to visit her while on leave from the Marines. He had bought a HD 750. The first week he had it he hit some gravel on a curve and crashed. Lucky he had all his gear on and only suffered soreness from the crash. New bike didn't fair so well but was able to hop back on it and ride home.

I'm so sorry Dan, and 27 is far too young, he was in the prime of his life. 2020 has just been a shit year for sure. I've lost 4 family members this year and 3 of them took their own lives which is just senseless.

As far as the farm we've got a male and female foxes that are decimating our chickens and ducks, and just yesterday we had a horse colic and die. My niece waited months for a quad and it came from the factory with a bad clutch. I got the beer virus and was deathly sick for more than a month and it did damage to my lungs.

This year has been so bad I wake up every morning waiting for the other shoe to drop. Oh, and I forgot to mention I've lost 2 close friends to motorcycle accidents this year, one was drunk and the other was a daredevil like me.
