Air Fuel Mixture Screw For TT250 Carb

Hello Everyone,

I just completed installing the CSC jet kit for my TT250 and am happy with the increased performance. What I am unhappy about is how difficult it is to adjust the air fuel mixture screw when the carb is on the bike. I was looking at some of the ones they sell on eBay and wanted to check and see if anyone could post a link of an air fuel mixture screw that fit the stock carb with no issues. Here is a link of one I was looking at but not sure if it will fit.

Thanks!

I think I tried one like that on a PZ30 would not work. I could never find one that would fit. Eventually I got this 90 degree adjustment tool.

I found that I can get in there and turn it by hand using a bit out of a 6-in-1 screw driver. The spring doesn't have a whole lot of tension.

If you buy a mikuni clone carb, most of those hand turn adjusters will work. I didnt need a new carb but I wanted a hand adjustable screw so I bought a clone and it worked perfectly.

All of those long adjusting mixture screws I have seen are cut flat on the end, whereas, the a PZ30 has a needle point. Seems to me if you turn them all the way in, they will reform your fuel mixture passage. Does the Mikuni have a flush cut mixture screw? Or maybe it does not matter to reform the passage? Here is something that could do double duty? I bought one of these for my tool box but it also has a 6 point driver.
