Yes they do make higher lift cam and higher ratio rocker arms for the CG engines. At least in South America

I've looked into it too, the Brazilians seem to be the most into hot rodding them, and I tried to contact them on a site, with no luck. I looked at something like this: https://motos.mercadolivre.com.br/pe...ao-cg-vareta-a

I suspect they're getting those parts from China. The trick would be to figure out if it's on Taobao.

I think that they're cheap enough that we could potentially, at their discretion, have a member from South America - hint - maybe @Wild Dog ? Get some and send them Northwards?

One of the best mods I did for my ATC 200X was a hot cam and exhaust, put out surprising amounts of power for a small displacement engine.

It's a 50 / 50, some parts are from china/taiwan some made either in Argentina or Brazil.
When it comes to vehicle mfg in South America, Brazil is #1 then is Argentina. If we take Latin America, then it's Brazil, Mexico, Argentina.
Honda, Yamaha, Toyota did invest a lot of money in SA. Toyota mostly in 4 wheels vehicles, while Honda and Yamaha mostly in motorcycles.
So there are mfg that make custom parts from 0.
Also you have tuned china stuff.

For example, right now i'm starting to buff out my chonda.
-alloy rims, locally made, a bit better than the chinese ones and cheaper

-Big bore kit, is made in Taiwan but resold under an Argentinian brand, the gaskets are made here.

-New Springs for the front fork, national made for chondas with different spring rates.

-Handlebar with raiser Brazilian made.

-Silencer, national made cloned from fmf.

-Cam brazilian made.

-Alloy skid plate national made.

If you find something you like, tell me. With the current money change. Parts are very cheap for those who earns in USD, Euros...

Just to give you an idea. I paid 20 usd for the alloy skidplate

I was thinking something like this: https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/...2-43a2070f4660

And this: https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/...2-43a2070f4660

But I wouldn't need the pushrods.
