Just ordered, Lifan KPX250
As the title might indicate, I just ordered a KPX250 from Venom Motorsports today. Looking forward to a large package being delivered soon. My question is, how thoroughly should I go over the bike and check that things are tight? Every nut and bolt, or are there places that might be more notorious for lack of attention to detail? What areas should I remove the bolts and loc-tite? I'm a decent mechanic and not afraid to disassemble the whole thing if necessary, aside from splitting the gearbox, I've had a bad experience with that on an old Rotax.

When I ordered mine, I didn't know about JerryHawk's $50 discount code. I did see one on the KPX Facebook group, after I ordered, and I messaged them the next day, and they honored it . It's AMO50, or possibly AM050. I could not really tell if there is a letter O, or a number 0(zero) in the code, but they honored it regardless. I ended up paying $2849. You may get lucky, and they may honor both Jerry's code, and AMO50, and you may save $100. They messaged me back, and offered me what they claim is a $70 phone holder, or waterproof cover instead of the $50, but I chose the $50. I ordered a red bike. What did you get ?
JERRYHAWK250 is Jerry's code, and it's evidently always good, and never expires. |

I got the $50 discount. Called them before I ordered to see if there were any other promos going on, sadly no. But $2849 delivered is still about the best deal around.

Congrats on the New KPX. Nuts and bolts from the factory on the KPX all were good on my KPX. It's always good to go through the whole bike just for a piece of mind. Nobodies perfect and there's always something that can be over looked.
This is the process that Venom does. First, a tech puts the bikes together. Then, a mechanic takes them for a few mile ride to make sure they work well and idle great and shift well. After the ride, another mechanic checks every part of the bike and makes sure everything is tight and working perfectly before he signs off on it and gives it to the shipping team for shipping.
