some good tutorials

the hawk engine may be slightly diff than this one but close enough. also you can remove the valve cover without taking anything off like they do https://www.cscmotorcycles.com/Articles.asp?ID=293

True, Valve adj is easy peasy on the Hawk.

2015 and 3/4 RPS Hawk 250. Most people would call it a 2016 but the MCO didn't.

Very good and clear pictures in the tutorials. How many of these will translate to the Hawk?

Most. The only real difference is the balance shaft on the motor. Top ends are basically the same.
